your work looks the closest to what I had planned
I was wondering if you'd tell me what programs/tools do you use to create your web comic, I'm trying to start my own but am at a loss as to how
+do you mind if I use these figures as reference models for my own work?
Ohh a webcomic! very cool! I believe there's no better way to improve any and all your comic making skills then to make a webcomic!
I ink all my work traditionally on bristol board and then scan them into my computer and color them in photoshop. I like the Pentel Pocket Brush pen to do my lines as I live in a very small space and ink pots tend to spill.... To make my own web pages I use Dreamweaver, although you can use simpler programs as well. I do hire on help for that as I'm not great with code and haven't yet found a blog template or webcomic hosting site that will do what I want for me.
Some great recourses to starting your webcomic would be checking out the following links:
-Webcomics Weekly Podcast is now over, however you can still listen to their old podcasts. That's a wealth of information there. The same guys who did that podcast also wrote "How To Make Webcomics" [link] Kurtz/dp/158240870X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365951956&sr=8-1&keywords=webcomics which is a great source for webcomic knowledge. These two things, in an of themselves, were a huge help to my own webcomic stuff.
-Read Scott McClouds Understanding Comics, very important. It's full of theories and ideas on how to lay out a comic.
-Take a look at Travis Hanson's "Shop Talk" page [link] it goes over his process which is very similar to my own.
-Check out remindblog.com there's all sorts of cool tidbits he has hidden over his blog. I'd suggest starting on the FAQ page.
I will leave you with that, don't want to completely blow your mind with all of this XD. Good luck with the web comic ^_^ what's it about?
and soo freely
Your welcome
